Oblivion

Oblivion - Joseph Brown I was sent a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I started reading this book thinking that I was going to really like it, but I got disappointed very soon. The more I read, the more I felt I was watching a fantasy videogame. The storyline is repetitive and gets boring after a while, since it is the same pattern once and once again: the hero goes on a mission, he finds a monster, they fight, he wins, he goes on another mission, finds another obstacle, more fighting, the hero goes on on his journey, and again. So after a while you get bored of reading the same thing with different elements. Add to that bombastic words and purple prose. I didn't manage to finish the book. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because I didn't find a single typo, and it has been a long time since I read a book without typos.
