This non-fiction collection of letters wasn't as interesting as I expected it to be. I read all of the letters though, but I really don't see how this book can make people feel hooked. Set of letters from the author's father, written while he was in the army during the Second World War. I thought I was going to read about life in the army or the events happening in the places he was sent to, but instead you learn a lot of things about his family, back in the USA. It also needs more editing and a more careful formatting.
