This is the third story written by Troy Aaron Ratliff that I read, and I enjoyed it, but not as much as the other two. Why? Well, I guessed what was going to happen next almost since the beginning of the story. Nonetheless, I enjoyed reading it because I liked the style and the conversational tone of the story. However, sometimes I felt as if the story was simply dragging. I don't want to say much in order not to spoil anything for you, but let's say that the main character will surprise you quite a lot by what he does in this story. Highly recommendable if you are looking for a short, entertaining story.
