Charlotte's Web
I don't really read a lot of children's books, but Charlotte's Web has become one of my favourite ones. This book talks about friendship, about solidarity, about bonding with people in need, about sharing and not being selfish. Those are great values and it is important that children learn them since they are able to understand this story. All the efforts that Charlotte make to help Wilbur are admirable and give a new name to what being best friends mean. Who said that animals from different species couldn't be friends? That can be also applicable to people, and it's an amazing thing for children to learn and value. It's not a surprise that this book has become a classic.
